Change Lives with

Pathfinder Business Academy

Why this role matters

Every student deserves a clear path to their future.

As Pathfinder’s Outreach Coordinator, you’ll open doors for teens to discover their strengths, build confidence, and take real steps toward meaningful careers. Your conversations with schools, homeschool groups, and youth organizations directly translate into students gaining access to our 12-week Career & Business Discovery Class—often with donor-funded scholarships you help secure. This isn’t just outreach; it’s life-changing access.

About Pathfinder Business Academy

We’re a nonprofit that helps teens uncover who they are, what they do best, and where they’re headed. Our flagship 12-week online Career & Business Discovery Class runs monthly with live Q&A, recordings, small cohorts, and practical outcomes students can act on immediately.

What you’ll do (and why it’s fulfilling)

Build authentic relationships with principals, counselors, CTE leads, and homeschool organizers—people who care deeply about students’ futures.

Host quick, energizing info sessions (virtual or on campus) that spark students’ curiosity and give parents hope.

Coordinate all the moving parts—dates, promos, tech needs—so classes launch smoothly and students show up confident and ready.

Keep a healthy pipeline in our CRM so more students hear about the opportunity in time to join the next cohort.

Work with community donors to secure scholarships—and see the direct impact when a student who couldn’t afford tuition gets a spot.

Participate in local business networking groups to meet advocates and champions—we’ll place you in a group so you’re supported from day one.

You’ll love this if you…

  • Light up when you talk with educators and community leaders—and they feel it.

  • Get satisfaction from turning a cold introduction into a warm, ongoing partnership.

  • Enjoy a mix of presenting, coordinating, and cheering students on.

  • Are self-directed, organized, and motivated by goals you can measure and celebrate.

  • Have reliable transportation and can pass a background check.

How we’ll support you

  • Warm introduction scripts, email/text templates, one-pagers, and slide decks.

  • A CRM with lead lists and simple workflows.

  • Coaching on scholarship messaging and donor conversations.

  • Placement in a business networking group to accelerate quality leads.

What success looks like

  • Weekly: consistent outreach (calls, emails, visits) and scheduled presentations.

  • Monthly: new partner schools or organizations coming on board and students enrolling.

  • Cohort by cohort: enrollment goals met—and scholarship seats filled for students who need them.

Compensation (1099 contractor)

$25 per enrolled student.

This is performance-based, with meaningful upside as your partner network grows. (No base salary or benefits; contractor provides equipment. Pre-approved expenses may be reimbursed.)

Equal Opportunity

Pathfinder welcomes contractors of all backgrounds and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
